The Retaliation of Complacency
As an artist I’ve had the opportunity to further grasp and experiment with my aesthetic as well as personifying my own philosophies. On this course of understanding I have observed seemingly perpetual attachment to self made limitations and restrictions. How society allows our comfort zones to divide and conquer us. In my works I focus on how a piece’s success is attributed not only to its physical construction, but to the feeling it invokes. I have created these works to express how intention can be blurred by perception. How reality can be reconstructed and felt in the abstract. How depth and understanding is relative to experience.
